Built for high loading and long operating hours
The OXE125 is particularly designed for displacement and semi-displacement vessels. It delivers 125hp and 376Nm (278 ft-lb) of torque. With the high torque gear ratio on the primary belt, the unit delivers up to 603Nm (445 ft-lb) of torque on the propeller shaft.
The OXE125 is the recommended work tool for vessels or barges that need high loading capacity, long operating hours, high agility and high torque. The model is ideal for survey vessels and long working cycles or transportation of heavy loads on barges. Fuel consumption is limited to 27 L/hr.
Power and versatility
The powerful high torque of the diesel engine manifests itself throughout the OXE Diesel engine series. Together with the robust transmission and interchangeable gear ratios, it provides the users with reliable options to use the engine as both a powerful workhorse and a high-speed solution.
Diesel provides for high efficiency and torque. It gives increased load capacity and greatly reduced fuel consumption compared to petrol outboards, increasing the range by over 60%.
Reduced CO2 emissions
The reduced fuel consumption is a key factor to why the OXE Diesel engine emits significantly lower CO2 than a gasoline outboard engine. One litre of diesel produces approximately 2.69kg CO2 and one litre of petrol produces 2.36kg CO2 when ignited. Since OXE125 consumes less fuel than petrol alternatives, it reduces CO2 emissions by up to 34.5%
